Candlestick missed the top on AMZN.

He also missed it when he called it in October. See the URL to posting 577.

So What? If infallibility is a prerequisite for posting on this thread, this will be my farewell address.

What I find to be much more interesting is some of CandleSticks early posts, like this one, #65 on this thread.

FWIW, I think AMZN is both fascinating and extremely difficult to predict. I am a little discouraged to read some recent postings which have been laced with arrogance. The problem with being certain that one is correct is that it tends to close one's mind to the risks that one could be wrong.

I read a couple weeks ago a posting from a bear who has lost over $100,000 in the last 12 months shorting YHOO. Another example which hits closer to home is mine. I was really confident that I was right about a biotech stock last year. If you are interested, read this URL to see what happened.

You might wonder why anybody would want to pay attention to somebody like me who could be so wrong last year. The answer is that it is an opportunity to learn from other's mistakes. Unless somebody is too arrogant to acknowledge and plan for the possibility of being wrong.

Best Regards to All,
