Evidence that this market may have more steam: The DOW rallied from low on April 18, 1997 of 6315 to a yearly high on August 8 of 8340 for a gain of 32% The current Bull Leg started from a low on Jan 23, 1998 of 7609 to a high as recently as April 19 of 9250, for a gain of 21.5%. What stopped the market hard was Asian fears and the fact it was Oct! Currently the market is enjoying nearly zero inflation, strong corporate profits and low interest rates What should happen IF President Clinton and her husband should be threatened with impeachment? I don't think the Street is going to like the sound of President Gore. For this reason alone I will buy a cheap 20% OTM OEX put.
