Emile, this "Jew" is one of those words which mean two different things - I forget what this is called grammatically speaking. But from what you say, then I would guess that the race of people referred to as "Jews" (separate from the "Jews" of Judaism) is the "swarthy somewhat hooked-nose and kindy haired semitic Jews"

As far as "blackness of Ethiopian Jews", well I couldn't say for sure, but they may be a race in themselves, separate from the "semitic" Jews. Or the black Ethiopian Jews may belong to the race commonly referred to as "Black" or "African Black".

According to two world renowned Jewish Anthropologist by the names A.L. Kroeber and Ashley Montague, Judaism is not a race but a religion. They both stated in their research that the Jews are the most mixed race on the face of the earth.

Emile, it's surprising that such scholarly sounding people would stop there. While Judaism is obviously a religion, and people professing faith in the religion of Judaism are indeed composed of people from a great many and varied races, is there anything which excludes the idea that there is indeed a people of a race called Jews who make up the "semitic" portion of the believers of Judaism?
