You are 'preaching to the choir' here! I know how much DELL does to get the kind of quality into their systems that makes them the #1 JIT-BTO (only) provider. The use of Intel components, IMHO, cannot be faulted!

I was trying to make the point that IF, and only IF, DELL wanted to assemble and test an AMD system, the model would work just fine!

It is DELLs management that I have faith in! If they, at sometime, wanted to use AMD, I wouldn't question it a minute! As an investor, as long as the numbers are favorable in relation to others that I am investing in, count me in! As long as the fundamentals remain constant, and I have no reason to believe that they will change, I see nothing to stop DELLs progress!
