Leo - reverse splits are for the benefit of a company, only! IMHO. To explain the whole story is a long one, and I will not today provide all the ins and outs, but here is something to think about. They request approval from the shareholders for a reverse split AND the approval for more shares (possibly 100 million) to sell at later date. Approximately one nanosecond upon our approval the company begins selling the shares at a premium price due to the higher PE and EPS; Guess what happens to the stock valuation? Down the crapper. The SEC will not let us short pennies. Why? Because we know the value stock is going to head south. I have heard of good reverse splits - but I steer away for harms way due the percentage of failures vs successes. Best wishes:)
