Digital River to Extend Online Distribution of
QUALCOMM's Eudora E-Mail Software

MINNEAPOLIS, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital River, Inc., announced today that it has signed
an agreement with QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM - news), a leader in wireless
communications and advanced electronic messaging solutions for the Internet, to provide Internet
distribution of QUALCOMM's Eudora(R) E-Mail software through Digital River's network of more
than 1000 online dealers.

With an installed base of over 18 million users, the Eudora family of software products is the world's
most popular Internet e-mail solution. Digital River provides QUALCOMM with the secure delivery
technology and infrastructure necessary to effectively market and distribute its software products to
end users via the Internet.

''We are extremely pleased to be a part of Digital River's new distribution venue,'' said James
DeBello, vice president and general manager for QUALCOMM's Eudora division. ''We are excited
about the opportunity to attract new Eudora software users and expand the ever-growing revenue
base.''

Joel Ronning, Digital River's president and chief executive officer, said, ''We're delighted to be
partnering with QUALCOMM in the distribution of their award-winning e-mail software. Online
distribution is proving to be the channel of choice for a growing number of electronic products,
because it delivers directly the point of need -- the consumer's home or office computer.

''Moreover, online distribution eliminates the need for disk or CD production, packaging, returns
and shipping expense. It also greatly reduces the amount of time required to get a new or upgraded
product on the market.''

Scott,

Thank you for your insight into my question re. TSQD. I see a huge potential here and but realize what any company can sell products through their web site. What is fascinating is the patents and technology and how this company is setting up contracts with other companies to sell their software. I certainly feel that this is a company to watch. Did not know Fujitsu was also an owner.

Thanks for the comment.
Johanna
