Robert,

I've been fine. Still hanging with TI and intend to stay.
The last several months have been difficult but the good
news is that most all semiconductor companies are having
a tough go of it.

Good news in the sense that TI has come out looking relatively
good. Despite the DRAM situation, TI has squeezed out a goodly
profit. The DSP story is good and if all the ground work laid
over the last year or two pays off, should really take off.

But no doubt about it, the IC bookings industry wide are down
and I think we are in one of those old fashioned semi slumps.
I had thought the stock would see 45 to 50 but it did not.
It has shown great strength and I guess a lot of people are
looking at it as a great bargain and not allowing it to go down
so much. Also, the ADSL story seems to have many intrigued.
Some may even see a memory price recovery not so far downstream.

So, not really ever knowing exactly what will happen, I've decided
to let what I have in TI ride. I think it can see another split
in the next 6-12 to 24 months and after that, we'll see.

Am I right or wrong?

JB
