Donkeyman,
I agree with you that inco paid too much for VB. It was good times for
the industry back then. Metals go up & down just like stocks and someday we'll see better prices again. My point here is that VB is still a long ways from production and SVB even further (if at all).
I believe there's a good chance we'll see stronger prices between now
and then. I do believe that this may have a small impact on us if it
hits inco. But the bottom line for me is that I'm speculating on donner proving up a world class deposit in the ground. If they can do that the stock will still perform very well. Yes, it would be nice to
get 4.5 bil for it, but a 10 bagger instead of a 20 bagger will still
be alright by me.
Just a thought- would not another huge deposit within 90 km of VB
possibly help improve the economic viability of the project?
i.e. milling, smelting, etc.
