They chased the schools and caught plenty fish. Heading home the engine stopped. When the cord broke they executed the outboard with a sledge hammer. Three days hard rowing and near death brought them home to village laughter and derision when a young boy held up their empty gas tank.

The boy found his father murdered in the mountain plantation. Thieves. Going home he swore revenge.

They sold the taro for beer and partied.

He heard, listened and confirmed.

He took each head with a bush knife as they peed; then dragged the basket of 'taro' to the police station.
