Gary, thanks for coming here. I think that the gold monitor guys were ready to shoot us. <VBG> The broker I use (Accutrade) charges me $27/trade for RYPMX which is a no load fund. (I will never buy a fund with a load.) That commission is for any amount of dollars. Also, if I wait 6 months before I sell, the sell is commission free, otherwise $27. Accutrade has a minimum commission for stock at $28 + $0.02/share so you can see that fund buying and selling is cheaper than stocks for me. You should spend some more time reading this thread, there are many fine recommendations besides RYPMX including a Canadian fund that specializes in bullion. You can get information on Rydex from Rydex at 1-800-820-0888. I recently signed up for the forecaster service (Elliott Wave) that updates the forecaster on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Tuesday and Thursday are still free, but I sense that as soon as they get a large enough subscription the free stuff will end and be tucked into the paid service.
