Why on earth are you wasting time writing these essays, Dwight? You already know your belief system, and unfortunately so do all of us.

You really lose it when you start in on the gay school teachers. You don't listen to Rush Limbaugh, do you? It sort of sounds like you do.

In any event, you miss entirely the difference between insisting that homosexuals be allowed to work under the same conditions everyone else does, with the same chances for employment based on skills and hard work, not what 'category' of people they are, and some misconception you have now brought forward that somehow you are not allowed to make your own choices for a healthy life.

Are you saying that working with homosexuals is contagious now?

And only the conservative Christian right discriminates against homosexuals. No one else would think of doing so, because we are all more relaxed, and not threatened by them. While you don't think you have anything to do with hate crimes, it is conservative ministers reinforcing hatred and fear that provide cover for people who commit hate crimes. A climate of intolerance is created with just feeds into this whole cycle of violence.

It sounds like somone has been preaching at you regarding what teachers teach in sex education classes. First of all, the parents need to sign release forms to even allow their children to be in these classes. And secondly, abstinence is definitely emphasized. Because the average age that children become sexually active all over the western world is fifteen-and-a-half, however, it is also realistic to provide information about contraceptives and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. And it is the responsibility of parents to be the primary moral teachers of their children. I am surprised that you are trying to indict the schools here. It sounds like you have been told a lot of things that are not true, the kind of things that keep the religious right faithful because "they" are trying to get all of you, and corrupt you. Oh, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
