Victor,

Thanks for the time put in to analyzing Bay's/investors/traders scenarios. I appreciate it greatly.

This network 'big' world is unbelievably competitive and it is frustrating for any CEO these days to come up to a microphone and say, "Hey, we are going to have a great quarter"...it is just too darn impossible to know what will happen with a Billion dollar company at the end of the third month sometimes (ie. this could be the difference of several to hundreds of millions of dollars which the CEO can only pray for).

I like Bay in the low 20's to high teens (gulp, if she ever gets there soon :-)) and I believe she will be like the beloved Intel for awhile--hanging out for the traders in almost predictable trading ranges until there are positive signs healthy growth has returned.

I am glad Bay has held here, but it does seem kind of clear now that because of its low market cap ( my opinion only) to revenues, and because of its possibilities of a pick off (ie. acquired by LU), that it still has limited short term stock price plummet worries. The size of operation that Bay runs, and the quality of folk and recent customers only seem to STILL portend to excellent potential, even after the recent earnings. I still wonder if its stupid to play people like MRVC and BAY or to just simply load up a little on all the major players (ie. CSCO, LU, ASND, BAY, COMS, NN, etc) and go on vaca. :-)

Well, Bay should continue to be fun to watch, and one should keep doing their research!! Anything can happen in the short term. Thanks again for your thoughts.

all imho

Hi Victor, my last post was meant to be 'tougue in cheek' and just for some fun ! I know you can take it.

Your last post was great - it sums up most of our thinkings on BAY for the near future.

I have to go out right now so should reply to you later.
