Bill & All,
I haven't followed the messages for a week or so, been on vacation, and I won't attempt to catch up, but I am concerned about a few things I have read and seen in the news.

First of all in the papers, I have seen a new windows machines advertised running at 400mhz. The price is right around $3,000.00 with monitor, 128 megs of ram, dvd2 drive and 10 - 12 gig hard drive. I've been pricing a G3 266mhz minitower with less ram and a smaller hard drive and the price comes in about the same. My concern is value and speed for the dollar. Will the perception be Apple is too expensive for what you get?

Secondly, I am confused as to why in God's name Apple will not allow the press into the shareholders meeting. It would seem to me that with the fantastic results this quarter, the company would want, even seek, as much publicity as possible. The only thing I see coming out of this move is negative publicity. The 'secret' meeting stigma. I'm a shareholder who can't make it because I live in the East. I want to know what went on. How do I get my info - through the grapevine? As far as I'm concerned, this one really takes the cake. Comments? -Keith-
