Apple Macintosh used to have advantage over PC's. That is Macintosh
was easy to use, PC's was hard to use always gave you unfriendly error
message. Now, everything is reversed, besides, PC's are much more
cheaper. Who wants to buy high priced more troublesome Macintosh?
May be Jobs pets will!!

D.Ray- are you buying puts or calls?

Never mind. I really don't care.

One can say <long term the company is probably going to run into trouble> about any stock. All you have to do is wait long enough, then say "told you so!" I learned this from fortune cookies.

In my opinion, the longer APPLE can sustain their good news streak, the better the stock will do. Good stock performance pulls in momentum players. Good stock helps customers feel confident the company will be around. Perhaps Apple will get some big contracts, and the whole cycle feeds on itself, in a positive feedback sort of loop.

I think you are saying you don't like Apple, but it could go to $39.

Don't bother straightening me out, I'm just an idiot.

Richard

D.R.,

It may have gapped up, but the gap was not big enough to spur profit taking on an issue with an 8% increase in unit sales with 25% margins in a sea of sector inventory trauma.

MM's were caught on the wrong side of the news. They hate to do it, but if it saves their job and living...

There would have been profit taking in an efficient market. It most likely would have leveled the price at or above $36.

The volume speaks for itself. There was churning.
