Don't know or really care what Teo's intentions
are...and for now, he is the only one who really
knows...
-
Several facts do make this stock interesting:
-
1. Many reputable institutions hold the stock..
they have many a great analyst, however, they
are bound by certain rules...again, only they know
them...but in some cases, they are required to sell
if a co misses numbers by a certain amount (please dont
flame me for suggesting that a powerhouse like CRUS
might miss..heh heh heh)...In any case there could
potentially be a few big sellers out there..which brings
us to point number two...
-
2. Dont compare Teo's buying prices to your own..chances
are about 100% that he was buying larger blocks than all
of us..the processes are not the same...finding a buyer/seller
match for a 1000 shares is easier...you see my point..
-
3. Teo may eventually get enough steam to put ole Hack on
the block...if so, please reference the chart after the
announcement of Donald's retirement from DSC Comm...a
similar situation with a CEO who was equally loved...note
the pop and fizzle after the news...
-
Really do appreciate the discussion...great to see
some more contrarian opinions out there...

For greenmail discussion, read on..

FWIW, I think a better case of greenmail (than the Perot example)
might be in '89 when Steinberg accumulated over 10% of
Disney stock...Disney bought him out at a price well above
market...the s/h sued everyone involved and forced them to
pay $45mm in damages...
