Hi Janice, A camera obscura, being a pinhole camera, will duplicate an image on the same scale as the original, as long as the recording medium is placed at the same distance as the subject. Of course this would not be easy, as the box would have to be a cube about 7 ft on each side. but it would not be an insurmountable problem. The reason for the pee is for the nitrate that it contains. Modern films use nitrates. In fact the last time I looked at my undies there was an image, if I recall. Del
