I don't blame the Jewish believers from the first for going back to satan's offerings

Jane, the reason the Israelites so often turned away from God and turned instead towards worshipping idols is because the idols didn't make them feel ashamed for their sin. Sin separates man from God, as it has been since the beginning. What did Adam and Eve do after taking the forbidden fruit? They hid themselves from God. They were ashamed.

So it was with the Israelites. They would sin, and then didn't want to face God. So instead, they often turned away from God completely and turned towards idol worship. They went into denial. So it is today. The agnostics and atheists desparately want to deny the existence of God, because they are ashamed of their sin. Their sin has separated them from God. So they continually deny the existence of God, and even deny the existence of the concepts of "right" and "wrong", because those things remind them of God. So they keep running, and keep shouting down believers.

The atheists and agnostics today are no different than the Israelites, when the Israelites would turn away from God and begin to worship pagan idols. The motive is still the same: deny to themselves the existence of God, who is the omnipotent creator of them, and who is the all-wise and all-wonderful Prince of Peace.
