LT,..Re:<<Propaganada???? I do hope you are kidding, for your sake?>>

LT, Let's use some logic and reasoning here and try to discern the importance of the quoted article from a VAR.

1.Approximately 10% or less of Dell's business is to the consumer market.
2. Some, if not the majority of the business that is done with the consumer market is probably done via their on-line ordering and selection.
3. The VARs and Reseller's main livelihood depends on small commissions which has to be amplified by large volumes to be worthwhile.
4. Why would a reseller or VAR say anything good about a product which they would only carry in very small volumes if at all?

Just a few observations you might want to consider. Also, I think you yourself have pleaded the case for difference of opinion here which is why I fail to understand your remarks on the lower than normal volume.

Regards,

Lee

LT,

Soooooooooo! That is San Fransisco! If that is the case there, it is not necessarily the case in the rest of the market! I will still be interested in the 'official' figures that we haven't seen yet!

On the other hand, One has to be careful not to get their HEAD too far in the sand!
