Larry, <<institutional investors>> I agree. However the chart is important to help decision making. The volume hasn't been so great that little guys couldn't have supported the price. Also, I wouldn't completely discount investor sentiment as seen through this thread. The big guy can certainly move a stock, but they have a poor track record compared to the little guys in decision making, it's not their money. When you need a committee to make decisions, everything is considered. Maybe even SI threads? <VBG>

"Over the long run, the only new investors which will make a difference in this stock are institutional investors, not the little guys on the thread."

Larry the big guys may drive the stock to $500 but it is the little guy who has got Naxos to this point for the last 8 years. In the last two weeks we have seem a significant erosion in the value of this stock. Quite clearly it is this loyal stock holder who has given up hope and voted with his or her shares. Some feel that keeping this customer (so to speak) happy is not important. Hey all we need is the big guy to come in and save us. Think again. We need all the supporters we can get. A strong loyal base of stockholders is crucial for all companies and more important to a JR. mining company like Naxos. We are now seeing the current stockholders giving up hope and new buyers are failing to stand up to the plate. This leaves Naxos vulnerable to a out right take over at very low prices. But oh wait it can't happen Jimmy and Fred have lots of stock. Naxos can not be taken over right? Well son when the well runs dry the well is dry. Don't look for the big guy to help you out on your terms at this point. If it is there he will step in but at his price. Care to sell out at $1?

Several threaders (mostly restricted shareholders) are saying hey im happy so what if the stock drops, we have money now its cool. Wow hope we don't have to do a PP at $1. Lets consider those stockholders for what they are. They are a group who are comfortable with the current situation. There are other groups out there with different thoughts. Right now a different group of shareholders are currently voting with their shares. other groups will also state their opinions in the future as well. Lets all hang in there and see if this stock can rock! Or will the butterflies die?.
