Paul, in answer to your question: my bad karma extends to other stocks as well.

Seriously, I think the problem is that I may have dawdled too long in buying some of the stocks I chose. I let them sit on my watch list until they really built up a big head of momentum-steam, and then I came in at the top of the upswing, buying high. And after I did so, the sectors (drillers/ECMs/disk drives, etc.) they were in went into a swoon.

I still haven't mustered the confidence to "buy low." (Suppose nobody else buys, and I'm left holding a useless bag???)
