Weird, I also get the S&P on Quote.Com when I key in INX. It is,however, an option symbol,so perhaps the reason for the discrepancy lies there. Otherwise, I have not a clue why, but I rechecked the CBOE website and the symbol is correct. Since I haven't traded the options and just picked up the info from the CBOE website, I'm scratching my head as well. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

ADDDF was Alias Research, if I remember correctly, they were acquired by SGI in the spring of 1995 (June I think). Maybe the service is 'beta'ing a Y2K fix and went a few years the wrong way ! <g>
