Her getting pregnant certainly complicated things. I'm not so sure that introducing a 14-year-old to the joys of sex is such an awful thing.

Why exactly should a 14 year old be introduced to the joys of sex ?
Isn't there plenty of time for that when he is ready in more areas than the physical?
He hasn't the emotional maturity for an adult relationship nor the resources to deal with unexpected consequences. He is only beginning his education, his experiences, his life. Childhood today is short enough and adulthood extends far longer than it used to. There are many years to enjoy responsible, meaningful sex and only a brief time to be a child.

This woman stole what remained of this boy's childhood. She took his innocence. That may sound corny to you, but it's true and I would be surprised to find a mother who disagreed with me when it came down to her child.

Last night at dinner we were discussing the case, and both boys felt that what this woman did legitimately fell in the category of rape.
Of course CW with his usual tolerant and even-handed approach said, "Shoot them both. And his parents too."
We are having his name changed to Adolf Anderson Westbrook.
