I was looking over the trading records, and see somethings that really compounded the problem, it looks to me like the MMs panicked more than anyone, the trading was "locked" at 1:45 1:46 and 1:47 pm 15 minutes after the news, (some were raising the price while others were dropping the price) IE anarchy in the pits.

At 2 pm they had about a 90 second "mini halt" on the phone with each other trying to get into sync again.

At around 2:11 another 60 to 90 second "mini halt"

At around 2:20 another 60 to 90 second "mini halt" and then all hell broke loose.

This PR & 300-1 split shocked even the MMs, I dont think even they were prepared to see anything this bad !!!! Actaully they are the ones that started the panic price drops... not investors selling, the investors followed only when they saw these huge drops.

The thing about this is in these 3 1/2 days only about 12 to 15% of the float traded... slightly above average. There wasnt enough panic selling to warrant a 100 to 125% drop... so our MMs havent been a very big help in this either. This is the same MMs they will use for a NASD listing... MMs are not some one you want to burn if you plan on doing an IPO.
Most of the CVIA shareholders didnt sale, and WOTD should take notice everyone is really POed (even the MMs) over this. Not a good situation for a start up company planning to move up to the big leagues.
