I wonder if the LCD panels will "ALLOW" those colored dots (pixles) in the screen. There was a rule of thumb that you could have as many as four on a notebook panel.

If I end up paying 4-5000.00 for a 20 inch panel, I want the screen perfect.

I use a 21 inch NEC monitor, it is great, but it weighs 75 lbs and is VERY sensitive to magnetic feilds. My NEC 17 inch in no where near as bad for magnetic sesitivity like my 21 inch.

I haven't heard much about plasma panels lately.
