First of all, he has said he will not raise margin requirements no matter what. Idiotic. That is how you do a surgical strike on the financial inflation. Raising rates hurts every sector. I think he will be forced to raise rates this year. The others at the Fed have let him play his media superstar turn for some time now and they are starting to act like they have some backbone. Alan loves hobnobbing with Bilary and getting his picture taken all the time. It is good for the future of Townsend-Greenspan, his consulting firm that was so far off base that they were playing football. <G> Atmel, is moving back up for no reason known to mankind. The business still sucks. However, it is a good thing I don't crave pats on the back, except at massage parlors.
