Thanks for the info Gull. My line of thinking comes from
the statement "despite existing legislation". If suf and
rg have covered their avenues regarding "existing legislation"
and the constitution was recent, perhaps it gave the "heirs" a toehold for their case. The time factor I had in mind would be related to the two year period for the claim by the heirs.

Some would be of the opinion that private ownership or inheritance of land and mineral rights could be a individual right to be protected.

Just my thoughts.
