Let's see now. You tell me I'm "bitter" and a "mother hen" but pretend to decry personal attacks. That's typical of the level of rationality you've exhibited for the past few days. When I politely and simply asked you for proof, you responded that you were just taking the word of someone else. You didn't even mention he had the article, only that you were taking someone else's word. When I questioned you, you started attacking me personally, and you haven't stopped. You continued to post your rumor as fact and extended your attacks on me to include several others. You've exaggerated our relationship and you've exaggerated mine with Tunica even more. I have found your notes in the past few days to be unsavory. I've seen those notes as smears and as irrational and unreliable. Several times you have made allusions to my relationship with Tuna, while I never so much as exchanged a private syllable with him, and it's certainly none of your business if I had. Why are you monitoring my relationships? Now you're making allusions to your private mail exchange with me. You and I exchanged a few private notes, primarily about where we both grew up, extending also to primarily superficial comments about our lives. That email conversation was pleasant, but relatively brief and ended a while back. You're suggesting that gives you the right to smokescreen behind a personal relationship. If anything, I'd have expected you to be more polite to me, rather than less polite. It doesn't give you the right to skate about facts about Zonagen, though. <g> Geez! I asked you to prove the claim you were making! I got back a series of rude remarks and demands that I attend to notes from Tuna that were months old, along with some stupid smear campaign you started against him. Please don't stretch our credulity further by suggesting you did this as a public service. You went on a smear campaign and maybe a few of your pals patted you on the back. I personally thought it was not only nonsense but UGLY. And then you went on to attack someone's spelling rather than content! You've gone on some sort of rampage while someone else dredged up the proof for you, while you were still posting it as fact, without ever having verified it yourself. Ugh. Ugly.. I know who got you the information. He emailed me. But he didn't offer me a copy, nor did he respond to my request for a copy. Had I seen the article I'd have posted the truth of it. Perhaps that's why I haven't been sent a copy of it. In the same note you complain about my being a mother hen and also demand that I come down on everyone else because YOU think they aren't rational, (either). I did address yesterday that I make my own calls on these things. I've taken up only three issues of the many irrational and rude posts that have consumed this thread. For me, that's been more than enough. You, for example, will rave forever, so I sure do hope that I don't find another issue compelling for quite a while longer. I personally saw nothing wrong with Zap's remarks and saw far more wrong with your response to him. (Spelling? Pathetic!) Zap made some sense to me. His point was discrete and clear. There was no falsification or sloppiness of reporting in what he said and he didn't include attacks on thread members. Are you planning to attack everyone else who disagrees with you, and demand that I attack them, too? Nuts! Linda
