This sector reported a net loss in the first quarter of 1998 of $769,000 as compared to net income of $718,000 in the 1997 first quarter. > That means the combined GPS sales of Magellan and Ashtech were no more than $30 M for the quarter. Remember that Trimble added about $15 M over the last year's quarter. Not bad going in an otherwise stagnant market.
