The question is would you rather buy, a company that depends solely on the internet selling wares it doesn't have extensive history selling (CDNW, AMZN), or a company that has years and years selling the merchandise profitably outside the net adding a net site and all the product the existing net sites carry to further enhance it's business (K-tel, Barnes and Noble)??? Which comes first, the relevant business experience or the technology?. You can buy the technology.

In these two categories, which companies can afford the potential low margin internet revenues?. Kind of like the Microsoft/Netscape browser war.

The Barron's article brought no new numbers or info to the table as it did in SIEB.

Barrons is a well respected weekly Journal but very conservative. Very stodgy in their thinking. One would expect them to pan the whole deal because the movement in internet related stocks is new....a new phenomenon and the old pros did not call it. The youngsters are now running the deal and they do not like it. I am 56 and willing to learn and expand my paridiams (sp). Most of them want you to pour over the numbers and make 10% per year like they did.

Heres a great little company. Has moved from 7 to 10 in the last few weeks. Could take the internet ride. Has potential to 20 N.
