I coined the cementhead term for the Yahoo shorts on this thread last year, and it was a badge they seemed to wear proudly in their retorts at the time. Bill Wexler was King of the Cementheads. I still think it is appropriate (my grandfather used to call me a cementhead when I did something r-e-a-l-l-y stupid and unnecessary as a kid).

Perhaps the new wave of shorts is more serious and determined. Maybe they're too battle-weary. But whatever the reason, I think cementhead still applies to a Yahoo shorter. Though, no personal offense intended.

See, this is an example of how the longs stay on this thread, but the shorts just fade away.... :)
