Cary & The Amigos
Talked with you a couple of times on the APCO thread as well as posted there also. I can't tell you guys how much I enjoy the thread!!! Everyone does a super job!! Speaking of jobs, mine keeps me on the road a great deal so I have resigned myself to being a lurker.

I want to know know what you guys think of Sunrise Technologies (SNRS). An MD friend of mine is so excited about their tech that he is about to blow a gasket. He said it will revolutionize the treatment of several eye conditions. Conditions that effect about 40 million in the US alone!! They have a site here on SI and Yahoo!

I haven't bought yet, but after reading about 3 million posts on SI and Yahoo!, I think I am in tomorrow or sometimes this week.

An opinion from you guys would be wonderful!!

Thanks
Albert

Cary,

SEMI: As I recall (its been a year)since GIFS was halted that
Lew and co (The CEO of GIFS) were involved in selling a phony
Cert. of Deposit touted as being worth 100,000,000 in Mexico.

Lew was the "underwriter" of the CD and guarenteed it's worth.
Well guess what....It was'nt, Mohommed was last seen in Uraguay
and Lew yelled that he had been duped also, but was always
suspected as being the shill in the fleecing of the shareholder.

Personally I lost a small amount compared to others. Some
claimed to have lost 40 to 60K on the deal.

The point is, Cary that we trusted someone that, at that point.
we thought was on the up and up. Further DD revealed that
Ol' Lew had been involved in this type of thing before. SEC
enforcement pages showed past charges and investigations.

All of this does not mean that SEMI is a bad co. Just that
they run with bad co.
