Well, open interest at the close for the apr 37 1/2's was 6,684 contracts, equivalent to 668,400 shares. These contracts essentially expired worthless. Plus some of the open interest on Thursday evening (don't have those numbers) was closed via trading on Friday. Whether this was enough to move the big option writers to bang the stock down, I just don't know, but it is strange how often a stock will close right on a strike with a large open interest. We'll see in about an hour's time. I had promised myself not to get on this roller coaster again, but couldn't resist when it dropped below 38 late in the day. I'm flattered that you mention me in the same breath as Jenna. But also embarrassed. She is a real pro who works very hard to steer us in the direction of interesting shorterm trades.
