When I joined this thread back in November, I almost got my head handed to me by all sharks that were short. I was the only long on the board. Would definitely be nice to hear some positives by the longs out there--and they are definitely out there!

To spare Barry a repetition, go back to the thread in November and read all the sharks' comments, especially those regarding some technical tests that CDRD ran. Reception in urban areas was a major concern along with comments from the company that local transmitters would be necessary in several cities.

IMO, LOR needed business so they made their investment and gave CDRD three years credit on the satellite. However, if CDRD doesn't make it, LOR can just repossess the satellite and sell it to someone else. They really can't lose in the deal.

Has anyone seen a credible independent study saying that Joe Sixpack will buy the CDRD service? The market penetration is assumed, not proven (which doesn't mean it may not happen).

I have said several times recently that I have no position in CDRD right now. If they announce a receiver deal with a major manufacturer I would probably go long, just because the 1.2 million short shares - amateur or professional - will provide fuel for a squeeze on news.
