I was going to Blockbuster BUT I just found out that Hollywood video has WAY more small foreign films than Blockbuster so from now on I am going there. I just saw Prisoner of the Mountains tonight. What a great movie. I had been waiting for it and since they didn't have it at Blockbuster I just assumed it wasn't released to video yet. It is about two Russian soldiers captured in a war. They are held by a Moslem chief, whose own son is a captive of the Russians- he wants to trade them for his son. Wonderful story, beautiful acting, really a first rate picture. It won some award at Cannes, and I think it was a nominee for Best Foreign Film at the Oscars. Truly a great movie- try to find it if you can.
