You don't know the short interest? You don't know if the short interest changed after this run up?

You don't understand the mechanics of shorting and the effect on the price of an issue?

You, a small investor, are holding a stock that turned the float several times over three days? And you are apparently content that means large "investors" are holding the stock?

By your quote of WON, I take it you think this is a CANSLIM stock?

And you apparently haven't read O'Neill's HTMMIS, particularly pages 157-160?

Suggestion: Before you speculate, which is what you are doing, you should study a bit more. Putting money in a stock like SEEK is not and "investment". It is rank speculation, unless of course, you lose half your capital investment and become an unwitting investor.

Latest short interest info. We should have an update soon, usually on the 15th of the month. It probably has gone up a lot, but so has volume. (Apologize for the crummy format)

Month Shares Short Avg Daily Volume Ratio*
03/98 1,251,235 2,587,388 0.48
02/98 469,265 837,992 0.56
01/98 936,280 464,527 2.02
12/97 950,113 375,702 2.53
* Ratio = Shares Short / Avg Daily Volume; it may be used as a rough measure of days to cover.
