In the past two weeks you would have been better off in PMCS and LEVL. ;-)

Do you think price weakness is do to earnings leaks.

It could be due to the book to bill that came out on Friday as previously speculated on this list. After mulling it over, that seems likely. ASYT was hit particularly hard even though BRKS (another front end automation company) went up after reporting losses less than expected. The low in ASYT at 22 1/8 was only 2,000 shares, then it popped right back up.

For ASYT, I see MACD (34,89) signal at 13 skimming along and matching each other at this point. OBV is neutral and money flow is positive (30 day cumulative). I bought only a filler position since I've had most of my long term position since the purchases in October and 12/31/97. I do not view ASYT as a stock you have to buy tomorrow but I want to be fully loaded over the next 6 months and just in case I am buying before the next quarters earnings report.

Sure would be frustrating to see a good buy point come and go with 1-2 bucks in your hand

Is there any reason not to sell some puts and at the same time buy some of the stock on weakness? Do whatever percentage you feel comfortable with, but I don't view this as an all or nothing situation. I tend to buy in segments. First segment is to establish a position, second is to fill out long term holdings, and third is for trading.

Just an idea you might want to ponder.
