The Zen of Shorting Internets
The great Chu Mei Ash of course never encountered the internet stock phenomenom. However I felt I could surely put his principals to the task of pounding those dogs.
So I was delighted to see KTEL take off and the first day of its surge I belted it with a hefty short near the end of the day. I was sure my mentor Chu Mei Ash was gazing down in pride.
Almost imeadiately after I discovered that whatever Chu Mei Ash's feelings were about my short it was not pride. What I had actually done was the market equivilent of pulling off my shoe and pumping not one but several rounds into the exposed foot.
At this point I frantically sought help in the 'Zen of Shorting' and 'Candlestick Shorts', to my dismay I found nothing that could help in all my frenzied searching. I was left to my own devices and market skills. It was at this point I noticed I had another foot.
I popped another fine fat short on top of the first.
While I am not sure what Chu Mei Ash would make of my moves. I do feel that were I to meet him the first words I would hear would be along the lines of "Well small ignorant pond scum. While wisdom may be yours someday, I fear that the gods will have to drop all other tasks to attend to that labor before it can be achieved."
But the master might have tossed me a compliment, one can never tell. Something like "I was impressed at how deftly you covered your losses the next day. Truly you managed to lower your losses from catastrophic to hideous."
