C.K., About BugNet
bugnet.com

I personally don't think it is going to affect me that much. I refuse to be brain washed.

Two of my puters were bought in 95. They were not Y2K compliant, but a simple flash rom bios update fixed them. Then I ran this program:

Free software to check your P.C.
y2000fix.co.nz

Pretty simple.

CHERYL, we're so lucky to have you around to respond to simpletons
like Bugnet.
The little state of Arizona thinks it's serious enough to budget
$100mm to comply. They're 40% compliant at last check.
California is upping the ante to 1/2 billion because they now have
recognized the embedded system problem.
I can see the Bugnet mindset actually contributing to Y2K chaos.

CK,

Nice find!!! Actually, I happened to catch World Business Review yesterday an Cap Weinberger was hosting several companies (Synergy2000.. etc) in a discussion of Y2K.

wbrtv.com

Very basic overview, but nice to see a man of his prestige addressing the issue.

Word is finally, but belatedly, getting out as evidence by Forbes and Fortune.

Regards.
