hj, i'm saying amzn is not the cheapest book seller. not even close. let me give you some examples.

1. check out acses.com and plug in several titles that you know. it will search at least 28 online book stores and give you the cheapest price. 9 out of 10 will show that amzn is not the cheapest.

2. to make matters worse, check out cmpexpress.com

notice the following "CMPExpress.com sells all books at 5% less than you will find them at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. In addition,
we also discount their shipping charges by 5%."

sounds like war. no matter how low amzn goes, cmp sells for 5% below them. now, what is the difference between an amzn book and a cmp book? nothing.

i'd much rather be a book buyer than a book seller, too. however, book buyers aren't trading publically and sure arent trading at 15 times rwvenues ;-)
