"seczebra: The volume tells me a lot of people bought this stock for what ever reason. A
lot of momentum players and those who believe and bought to hold. Many bought
above $40 for two days. Did those people sell?"

Craig...who bought the shares do you think...was it the little guy or the big guy??

Look at the volume after MER made its announcement...Do you think it was MER buying????

The pump'em and dump'em scenario is not a fantasy by conspiracy lovers...

you can bet the MER was accumulating prior to their announcement not after...

did they sell some of it?? maybe..maybe not...who knows!

remember at the very least you have to divide the shares by two to see investor to investor volume.....and it can even be less than the number you get from that...

so what makes you think it was the fundies buying AFTER MER's announcement.....

and it looks to me like this stock is being invaded by day traders....

so dont assume that the volume tells you it is people who believe in the stock....

you can bet there are some BIG BOYZ...and little girls out there turning it over for 1 point...well the BIG BOYZ will do it for 1/4

Craig, I have an account with Fidelity and let me say this: they are top notch! When I place an order, as I hit my screen I get the current bid/ask and I can move back and forth to continuously check a price. They can full service you if you want or trade for 14.95. I feel very good about them. I get price improvements on the NYSE and actually beat the bid/ask quite often!

Don't chase a stock! Be patient and wait for a pullback. The unknown is what fuels these stocks. When a trader gets finite news, they sell!!!

No news until Thursday! BTW, I thought this would gap down at the opening but as I predict future events, I almost become a contrarian indicator! No prediction for tomorrow!

Best to you!
