Well, yes, Del, pine needles are sticky with pine sap. But they smell wonderful because of it, and I think I could collect little bits of sap and take them home and make incense from them. Then we could burn it on our first anniversary, after we have convinced all the Christians in America to be more understanding and tolerant of the atheists, agnostics and pagans. Doesn't that sound romantic?

Your dessert sounds great. I often do informal fresh fruit desserts like that one, also. Sometimes I put low-fat Cool-Whip on top, which is a lot better than it sounds, but a little softened fruit sorbet melting on top of mixed fresh fruit is also really delicious.

Don't bother to bring any mead. Bitter wine is not much of a turn-on for me. I will buy some. Chanticleer mead is very good, you can get it at Safeway, and there is an amusing history right on the bottle. If I remember correctly, the honeymooners stayed in bed for thirty days drinking mead after their wedding. What fun!!
