Judy..Confirming with the company is the best way. I don't usually just rely on First Call but check with Telescan,IBES, YHOO and Briefing. When I am really interested in a particular company, I call. I usually call about 4-5 a day but that still is not enough. When "MarketGems" goes live one of the first things I will do will be delegate tasks of this sort to staff. We will also check and recheck if any companies have an problem going forward that is not revealed in their fundamental and technical analysis. It is thanks to posters like yourself and great feedback from other posters on Silicon Investor that contribute so much to the success of the earnings plays.
