Let me update you as to some important news on DHI and the homebuilders.

1. The homebuilding group has been slightly stagnant lately because of concerns that the order
rates have peaked and inflation in homebuilding prices is beginning to occur. The analysts that
I've talked to seem to think that the price correction in these stocks is over and they're ready to
fly. The general consensus is that in prefernce order DHI, LEN, and CTX are the three best
and should have the best move upwards.

2. The CFO's of DHI and CON are meeting with analysts in New York Tuesday night to go
over proforma income statements and balance sheets for the combined companies. The general
feeling that I am getting is that this should be a very positive meeting.

3. Earnings come out Tuesday morning. The company should beat consensus of 28 cents a
share by one or two cents. The real "blow out" in earnings will occur in the next 2 quarters.

4. The shorts will start covering on Tuesday or Wednesday as DHI is the 7th most shorted
stock on the NYSE.

5. If you may have noticed on Friday, there were a lot of shares offered on the bid side. In
other words, there were many buyers. This could be the beginning of a strong move. It was a
good technical sign that it closed above the 21-22 range.

6. As for the previous message of a Fed interest rate hike, this will just not happen as the Fed
doesn't want to knock the dollar even higher and the yen even lower. First quarter economic
growth was overstated because of good weather, and the Fed knows this.
