Hi Holly, Certainly nicotine has been used as an insecticide, so it makes sense that it should deter mosquitoes. Whatever they sense in me is a stronger attractant than cigarette smoke is a deterrent. I could become rich if I found out the secret. So far for me, the only thing that works for sure is a snowmobile suit, but that is kind of out of the question in the 95 degree heat and high humidity of South Texas.
