Tom: I decided to take a subscription for Marantette's letter, after a trial. He is currently on a sell for the gold stock (fund) portfolio. One can trade funds based on his buy/sell recommendations as well as the 10 stocks he lists in his portfolio. His track record was pretty good, until last year when he had a draw- down of 40 % for the year. He is a very honest guy, and explained to me (as I suspected) that the loss occurred mainly in the last quarter of the year. What he said was that he had a sell signal that he didn't believe, and consequently failed to issue it. However, he has made up most of that loss since. I plan to follow him for part of my portfolio, and trade on my own indicators for another part.
