How nice to have the power to absolve crime. It must come in handy for those annoying traffic stops.

An "individual absolute" describes one person's opinion, and that is an odd sort of "absolute". The phrase "personal favorite" would have the same meaning. An absolute, as in the speed of light in a vacuum, is something invariant for all observers in every situation. Absolute zero is precisely one temperature and no other. A logical absolute has but one solution. So "personal absolute", a subjective measure that varies with every individual, is really no absolute at all. Other than that, "individual absolute" is my favorite phrase this week. My ultimate favorite.
