Still a sceptic. But thanks for the link. I did not nor have not said there will be a problem or problems(Mainly with old software and puters). The thing that burns my butt is saying my, VCR, TV remote contoll, Microwave oven, Toaster, Car, etc. will not work is total hogwash.

Yes I do believe there are "some" items that may not operate correctly. But it is my personal opinion this hestaria is getting out of hand.

Oh, my two fax machines work well when I did the similar proceedure on them as well. The only bug is the last two digit date diplaying 00, but I will know it is the year 2000 and the fax machines will work fine.

My computers are Y2K compliant after a simple flash rom bios update. A two minute job on each puter.
