Larry,
This week there will, I think, be a huge battle between Internet shorts and longs and I certainly can't project the winner. However, it seems to me that having the 4 search engine companies (Yahoo!, Excite, Lycos and Infoseek) close last week with a combined valuation of around $10 billion (calcualated on a fully-diluted basis), is excessive. So, I would expect that sometime soon, these stocks will adjust to more sustainable valuations.

Sleep is much more important than speculative profits.

Sleep well.

So much for the Bearons' effect.

larry, don't you know that, to those buying 'net stocks at these levels, a negative story in Barron's is reason to buy? They fancy themselves contrarians and, because everything they read is negative, they reason that it is time to buy. Funny, I thought contrarian investing had a little to do with value and undercoverage. Oh, well.

Tulips in full bloom today! KTEL up 45%!!. Up 700% in weeks, and still has another triple in it before it hits internet standard valuation!

This is amazing. I'm going to buy a little company that's out of favor and go to the internet!

Edit - up 67% now!
