Handshake: It is my understanding that the bid is what a MM will pay for a stock and the ask is what they will sell it for, this being the spread which makes them money. So even though the bid was .33 the ask was .35 and that's why your order was not filled, because the MM only had to fill at .35 (5k) and choose not to fill at .34. Hope that helps, I would also believe that since they didn't fill at .34 there's a better chance then not that the MM believe it's going up or have a short supply. John
