Yes, but only once. It was WallData and I worked for a competitor and felt pretty confident that they were having a rough time. WALL dropped 19 points in one day and my broker thought I was a genius.

Never cared to do it again as its just not my style. I consider most shorting techniques to be short-term based and my style is more long-term. Believe me, I do not care to get into any discussion on the pros/cons of shorting, I just think its funny that each "group" (long or short) will try to justify short-term price movements in the way that suits their "group" the best. You had your own way of justifying the higher opening price.

SEEK is up 4 1/2 to 41 1/4. Good luck anyway...

What kind of question is that? I occationally short stock, but I don't fly into messageboards and start flogging the horse to "aid" in the downturn.
